Bacon wrapped Corn on the Cob  

Want a twist on a classic American standard?  Well look no further than Bacon wrapped Corn on the Cob.  It is exactly what is sounds like.  You can add cheese if you so desire, but adding bacon to just about everything make it better.  This recipe is simple, takes a little bit of prep, but the pay off is huge!  The next tailgate you do the next time you grill add bacon to the corn and give everyone a treat.  This can be backed in an oven or done on any grill.  Make your next Corn of the Cob experience special with  Bacon wrapped Corn on the Cob

All you need for Bacon wrapped Corn on the Cob

All you need is:
  • Bacon (3-4 slices per cob)  
  • Corn (on the cob)
  • Cheese (pick what you like Gouda Cheese was used in the video )
  • Salt (to taste)
  • Pepper (to taste)
  • Pan (casserole dish, glass, baking pan)
  • Cooking Spray or Cooking Oil
  • Toothpicks

 Cooking Steps:

Step 1:  Preheat oven to 375 degrees/If you are cooking on the grill start fire

Step 2: Prepare your Corn

  • Shuck the Corn
  • Add butter or cooking oil
  • Add salt & pepper to taste
  • If desired add cheese.  Wrap around the corn use toothpicks to hold in place.
  • Wrap bacon around Corn use toothpicks to hold bacon in place  (if cheese is used put bacon on top of cheese)
  • Coat the pan with cooking oil or spray
  • Place bacon wrapped corn in pan

Bacon Wrapped Corn and Bacon & Cheese Wrapped Corn

Step 3: Cooking on the Grill

  • Place Wrapped corn on the grill close to the fire but not directly over
  • Continue to turn as the bacon cooks
  • Cook until bacon is completely done
  • Do not over cook or bacon will crack and break

Step 3: Cooking if Baking

  • Place in oven for 25-30 minutes
  • Continue to turn as the bacon cooks
  • Cook until bacon is completely done
  • Do not over cook or bacon will crack and break

Step 4: Let the Bacon wrappedd Corn cool for five minutes

Ready to serve and eat! Bon appetit
