3 Reasons To Go To The Las Vegas Black Film Festival

The 4th Annual Las Vegas Black Film Festival is coming up April 27-30 2017 and I am seriously thinking about going.  Why am I thinking of going?  Well one I have never been before and I would like to try something new.

  • It is an opportunity to see films made by Black People, staring Black People.
  •  It is a chance to meet Black Filmmakers, Producers, Directors, Actors and more.
  • It in Las Vegas and how could you go wrong with that.  Entertainment, food, bright lights, shopping and first class hotels, what else could you ask for?   Now let’s get down to the nitty gritty.  The price for tickets range from $25-50 per day or you can purchase a Super-pass for $125 and go to all the events.  The all-day movie pass is only $30.  Saturday night they have a 70s Party hosted by none other than Superstar Leon from the “Five Heartbeats”.

The Las Vegas Black Film Festival (LVBFF) was organized to celebrate the works of Black Filmmakers from all over the world.   Attend one of the interactive and educational seminars or just come and party.  If you are a producer with a film that is written, produced, directed by or features an African American in the lead role, we welcome you to submit, compete and celebrate.  The festival offers “free” Acting Workshops.  As well as other workshops on various aspects of the Film business.  Below is a schedule of events.  Hope to see you in Vegas!
